Event Details

Purchasing practices, pricing and remuneration are often at the heart of human rights harms in global value chains. Yet price and remuneration are not often explicitly discussed within the context of human rights due diligence.

Questions around how to undertake effective human rights due diligence in accordance with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights are of increasing importance, particularly in light of recent regulatory developments around mandatory human rights due diligence.

At this year's annual conference of the BIICL Human Rights Due Diligence Forum, we will consider the links between pricing, remuneration and human rights due diligence, and how companies can practically integrate pricing and remuneration within their human rights due diligence framework.
