Weekly Update

During yet another week in which the UK's constitutional arrangements have been subjected to unprecedented strain by the process of withdrawal from the European Union, the Bingham Centre has again been an active participant in debates about the implications of that process for the Rule of Law. At the same time, it has also been directly contributing to discussions on a range of pressing Rule of Law issues around the world, from how to deal with serious challenges to the Rule of Law in EU Member States, to how to ensure better national implementation of international human rights standards in a way which ensures the participation of democratic actors.
