Thematic Digest: Independence of the judiciary in Ukraine
As a result of cooperation between the Department for the Execution of Judgments of the European Court of Human Rights and the Ukrainian Judiciary Project, the thematic Digest was prepared that provides an overview of the general measures taken by the Ukrainian authorities to implement the Committee of Ministers' recommendations in the Oleksandr Volkov group of cases, as of 15 October 2025.
Following the Committee's most recent examination of this group in March 2024, and in preparation for its next examination scheduled for December 2025, this issue contains a list of general measures taken by the Ukrainian authorities to implement the judgments in this group of cases, in chronological order.
