The Magna Carta resource pack has been produced against the backdrop of the 800th anniversary of Magna Carta. It is intended for use in Citizenship classes for Key Stages 3 and 4.
The Magna Carta resource provides a historical context for rule of law principles, tracing their origins back to the 1215 document. It highlights the relevance of those principles that endure even today in our modern justice system.
This resource can be used as either a standalone lesson without any other resources or an additional component to the Bingham Centre's resources for a six-lesson Key Stage 3 citizenship course on the justice system.
