Welcome to the Rule of Law Digital Hub
Young people should be equipped with the knowledge, skills and confidence to become active, participatory citizens. The Bingham Centre's Public and Youth Engagement Programme is designed to do precisely that. The Bingham Centre has been a long-term contributor to citizenship education in the UK. We have produced award-winning textbooks, shared best practice at international conferences, and continue to convene a highly successful Massive Open Online Course with over 10,000 students.
Our Public and Youth Engagement Programme is an innovative programme that combines public legal education and community organising. The Programme includes interactive workshops on democracy, human rights and the Rule of Law in schools across the country throughout the academic year. Schools can register for two free sessions here. The team are actively recruiting final year law students, recent graduates and young campaigners to become our session leaders to help run these sessions with us. Those interested in taking part can sign up here.
As well as schools workshops, the Bingham Centre also has much to offer the wider public - teaching resources, info sheets, videos, blogs and a free online course to help students learn more about the Rule of Law. Click on the images below to explore these resources!"
